This Is Crazy? Madonna doesnt want to see her fans sucking down cancer sticks!, Pop diva Madonna threatened to cancel her concert in Chile yesterday after fans initially ignored her stern warnings to put their cigarettes out. The Material Girl apparently takes “No Smoking” rules very
seriously, and was aghast to look over and see several fans sucking down cancer sticks while watching her South American soundcheck Madonna remarked to the crowd, who stood in the rain waiting to watch one of the world’s most famous performers perform, “There are people smoking right now. No smoking!” When her concern was not immediately addressed, Madonna threatened that she simply wouldn’t perform. “If you’re going to smoke cigarettes, I’m not doing a show.” This drew an audible response from the worried crowd, most of whom were not smoking. Madonna continued to address those who were disobeying the rule (it is unclear if this was the venue’s rule, or her own). “You don’t care about me? I don’t care about you. Alright?” Clearly growing more annoyed by the syllable but maintaining a steady, almost motherly voice, Madonna asked, “Are we going to play games? I’m not kidding. I can’t sing if you smoke. Entiendes?” she threatening not to perform if they didn’t put their cigarettes out immediately. “You’re looking right at me, smoking a cigarette, like I’m a stupid f–king idiot,” she complained to someone in the crowd......lol
