‘Another Sex Scandal’ – New Nollywood Flick, Based On A True Life Story..........


Do they ever listen? Does it ever stop? No. It always sounds dangerously fun until someone gets caught and hurt.
This story is a classic Type-A Nollywood flick with all the outrageous storylines but with real characters, a real marriage bounded by real emotions.
The protagonist is played by Nollywood actress Gloria Mba who has cried to the world revealing her marital problems and subsequently telling us her marriage is over because of her husband’s infidelities with a movie make-up artiste.
Our antagonist is played by Thelma Ozy, the make-up artiste and ‘marriage crasher’ in this story. A brief history on Miss Ozy shows that she was the woman behind Segun Arinze’s supposed marital problems with his wife Julie in 2011 while she was still in a relationship with Wazobia OAP Steve ‘YAW’ Onu.
As reported by Stella Dimoko Korkus of Encomium Magazine, Gloria tied the knot with a US –based contractor, a Leo Kanu on March 27, 2011. The marriage has however been short-lived because her friend Thelma had been sleeping with her husband.
Dimoko Korkus reports that Kanu and Thelma Ozy who had been having phone sex finally hooked up in Berlin Germany and consummated the affair. It is believed that Kanu paid for the trip. There are also leaked Facebook chat conversations supposedly between Kanu and Thelma that indicate the two had an affair behind Gloria.
Gloria says she found out when she ‘bumped’ into Kanu’s E-mail inbox and got a ‘shocker’ as she discovered the back and forth overtly sexual correspondence between her husband and friend.
‘My ex-husband’s friend asked me to confront them but there’s no need because it will change nothing. I took Thelma like my own sister and we were so close’, Gloria says.
Thelma has however denied any involvement, claiming not to be aware of what is going on. ‘Oh my goodness, this is not real. Is her marriage crashed? Has she called me? I know her husband and I was at their wedding. Oh my God’, she responded to queries over the matter.
Our Facebook messages to Leo Kanu and Gloria Mba remained unanswered as at the time of filing in this report.
But for what it’s worth, Gloria has updated her Facebook status from ‘married’ to ‘single’ while Kanu updated his from ‘complicated’ to ‘single.....
