BAD NEWS: Peoples Party Of Nigeria, PPN, Chairman dies at 47

The National Chairman of the Peoples Party of Nigeria (PPN), Abiodun Odusanya, is dead. The party’s Chairman in Ogun, Rasak Eyiowuawi, said this in a statement issued on Tuesday in Abeokuta.

The statement said Odusanya, aged 47, died on Monday at the University College Hospital, Ibadan, after a brief illness. It stated that the deceased was survived by a wife and three children, adding that burial arrangements would be announced by the family soon.
The statement described Odusanya as an astute politician with an outstanding track record. “Odusanya was a one-time governorship candidate of Community Party of Nigeria in Ogun State in the 2007 general elections.
